Description
Laboratory equipment designed for cutting and smoothing the sheaths and insulation materials of electrical and optical cables in preparation for obtaining test pieces to later to perform tensile strength tests and measure the elongation produced.
The equipment is used to obtain two parallel surfaces of the sample to be tested and obtain the desired thickness. It can also be used, once the test piece has been die-cut, to cut an additional thickness and thus eliminate any burrs produced by the die cut.
